Fresh Produce at the Junction
Produce Junction provides some entertainment if you haven’t been before – and lots of yummy fruits, vegetables, and flowers abound ! There are some “rules” when you shop at this local produce store, resembling more an indoor stand … and don’t mess up. We might be watching
5 Tips on How to Shop at Produce Junction
If you don’t have someone to follow along with on your first visit, be aware of the following:
- 1. It can get very crowded – after all – the deals on produce & flowers is the spot to be!
- 2. You must cash out (yes, cash only… but there is an ATM on location) at each department. The Vegetables, Seasonal, and Fruit (flowers get taken to the fruit counter) each have their own counter and stand.
- 3. Don’t touch the shiny display! There is a display in the middle of the fruit & vegetable counter with shiny wares…. don’t touch! Those are just for show.
- 4. Be ready with your order at each counter. I’ve found the staff runs faster than I can think sometimes. Everything is prepackaged with a price list hanging visibly. Just rattle off what you would like when it’s your turn. The staff will calculate your total by hand – remember cash only.
- 5. Be ready to make a few trips to the car. Sometimes it is easier each time you check-out to empty your arms so you are ready for more!
