West Goshen Community Park
One of the larger parks you can go to, and take advantage of your tax dollars, is West Goshen Community Park. Sitting at the corner of Fern Hill and S. Five Points Roads in West Chester, this park is nestled amongst single family homes and commercial buildings. While there is no pool, there are plenty of other facilities here.
West Goshen Amphitheater
Located in the heart of the park is a nice amphitheater, which is home to a summer concert series and a fall movie series.
Just want to get out with the little ones, there’s a good sized playground for them to use up all their energy or play a pick up game of soccer or football on the ample open space.
Children's Playground
While the township doesn’t run their own sports programs, several of the local organizations (East Side Little League, West Chester United Soccer, Wildfire Softball) take advantage of the various park facilities, including the baseball and softball fields. There are also tennis courts, basketball and even two volleyball courts for you to utilize, as well. They do have a Summer Recreation Program that starts in May and goes through the end of summer.
There are also picnic facilities available for rental, but please check the West Goshen township site for permits, etc.
