Day 33: Grand Slam in Malvern, PA
It’s spring, and maybe you or your child needs some baseball or softball practice. Then head out to today’s 365, Grand Slam in Malvern, PA. While it’s a great place to get some batting practice, it’s much more than that. They also do instruction, camps and I can’t tell you how many birthday parties my children have attended there. With an arcade, laser tag area, as well as baseball and basketball areas, this is an all around fun place. Kids love to pick prizes from the tickets they win playing arcade games. Parents like it because they get a “birthday room” and place to have a party with a large number of children taking over their house (always a plus for clean up).
If you have an aspiring Phillie’s baseball player the Baseball Academy runs group camps and also provide one on one instruction, as well. I took a coaches clinic prior to managing a Little League team and learned quite a lot. I even “sneak” over to hit a few to help get out the frustrations occasionally, as well.
So go check it out, or re-visit Grand Slam in Malvern, PA.
