Day 49: The Ashbridge House in Downingtown
Downingtown Area Historical Society’s Exhibit of Photos and Memorabilia related to Downingtown High School will continue from 2-4 PM on Sundays through the summer.
The free exhibit is at Ashbridge House, the Historical Society’s headquarters on East Lancaster Avenue, East Caln, in front of the Ashbridge Shopping Center.
The exhibit, which includes items that date as far back as the 1890s, includes photos of students, teams and clubs when the high school was located on West Lancaster Avenue until 1932, as well as pictures from the days at the Junior-Senior High School on Manor Avenue between 1933 and 1950.
