This time of year makes for a happy vegetarian with all of the fresh fruits and vegetable stands around Chester County! Today, I stopped by Pearl’s Farm Market in Eagle for some fresh sweet corn. They claim fame for the best bicolor corn in the area – I’ll have to let you know if I agree after dinner 
But… what a great place ! I have heard my mother and sister talk about this stand and how good everything is – so it was time for me to make a stop.
The peaches have already passed LittleOne7′s taste test after the juices dripped all over her hands & face… that’s a good peach!
There were two gentlemen working this afternoon and were very helpful and pleasant. While I was paying for my fresh fruits and vegetables, I was informed of the first BBQ event happening on Saturday, July 31st at the Ludwig’s Corner (Rt 100 & Rt 401) stand. From 10am – 6pm they are having a BBQ Chicken Dinner for $8.50. You’ll get 1/2 chicken, 2 sides, and corn.
Pearl’s is open throughout the year with offerings including Christmas Trees. I’m already planning to visit again… I eye’d up the fresh pies in the cooler, I mean surely I’ll be fit enough for a pie in no time at all !
