Day 58 of 365 Things to do in Chester County features something fun, free and educational ! Chester County is full of history and the Chester County Parks & Recreation Department, the Chester County Historical Society, Westtown Township and the Chester County Historic Preservation Network brings a great way to experience it up close and personally. The 16th Annual “Town Tours & Village Walks” are well underway – but you still have time to catch a few more before the end of the 2010 season.
I went on a couple a few years ago, and although have intended on doing many more, I just haven’t gotten it together ! They are FREE tours and even include light refreshments. Tours are on Thursday evenings from June 10th- August 19th. Tours begin at 5:30 PM and the last tour begins by 7:30 PM.
