Pine Creek Park is tucked away in the rolling hills of Chester County. This park provides a place away from traffic in West Pikeland Township, for recreation, exercise and enjoyment. The dirt track is a great place to run or walk. One lap is about 1/3 of a mile. I’ve incorporated this track as part of my long runs to give my joints a slight break from the hard surface of the road. My daughter and son-in-law used this park when their children were young by taking turns running on the track while the boys played on the playground. In the middle of the track are soccer goals and plenty of space to practice soccer skills or just romp and play in the grass. You may spot some deer or horseback riders enjoying the countryside surrounding the track area.
There is a covered pavilion with plenty of picnic tables and of course, the playground pictured. The park map shows trails and a fishing pond we have not yet explored. Possibly a post in the future!
