The Downingtown STEM Academy will focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics while learning with the International Baccalaureate Curriculum.

The school is slated to open the Fall of 2011 and is accepting applications now for the 200-225 students in each grade 9 and 10 they will admit. (Total of 400-450 students). The class of 2014 will be the first graduation from the STEM High School.

According to the Q & A on their website,

There are no specific requirements in terms of which attendance area students reside in for acceptance to the Academy.

The new Downingtown High School is located at 335 Manor Rd; Downingtown, PA 19335. Phone 610-269-8460. You can also find more information on the Downingtown Area School District website.
